SIGCSE Award Winners
We are pleased to announce the 2010 SIGCSE award winners. The SIGCSE
Award for Lifetime Service to the Computer Science Education Community
has been awarded to Distinguished Professor Peter Denning, Post Graduate
Naval School, Monterey. The SIGCSE Award for Outstanding Contribution to
Computer Science Education has been awarded to Professor Sally Fincher,
University of Kent, Canterbury, UK. Professor Fincher will give the
keynote address at the Technical Symposium. These awards will be
presented at the 41st SIGCSE Technical Symposium being held in
Milwaukee, WI, USA, March 10 - 13, 2010. I am sure you will join us in
congratulating these outstanding educators.
